Molo Kenya Safe Motherhood Maternal and Infant Health Project Grant Closed!

With a great sense of gratitude, fulfillment, and joy, we marked the Molo Kenya Safe Motherhood Maternal and Infant Health Project 2016 Grant closed in a lovely ceremony on 22nd October 2022! The ceremony was attended by members of the Rotary Club of Ruiru led by Ms. Sarah Thuo, Moto Hope’s Community corps (CHVs), and Moto Hope Dispensary and Project teams!

Even with the close of the grant, we are excited to report that the St. Francis Moto Hope Dispensary continues to be guided by the project’s goal and objective. The main goal is to accelerate the reduction of maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality in the vulnerable section of society within the Molo region of Kenya. While the specific objective is to improve the health of expectant mothers and infants by creating greater access to reproductive and child health services, improving antenatal and post-natal checkups, and educating adolescents about family life.

Special thanks to those who make The Molo Maternal & Child Health Program possible: Rotary International, Rotary Club of Kelowna, Canada, Rotary Club of Ruiru, Kenya, and St. Francis Moto Hope Dispensary, Molo.
