January 2019: Moto Hope-Rotary Maternal & Child Health Home Visit.

On 11/1/2019, Rotary Club of Kelowna, Canada representative; Kathy Butler, Rotary Club Of Ruiru, Kenya representatives Agnes and Paul, Moto Hope’s Founder and co-founder Fr. Francis Kabiru and Sandy Baldwin, Meaghan Baldwin, nurse Lilian and our Community Health volunteers visited homes of postnatal and 1 of an antenatal mother; beneficiaries of the Moto Hope Health Center-Rotary Maternal and Child Health Program.

They checked on the mothers’ health, hygiene, diet, and whether they are still practicing exclusive breast feeding as well as the babies’ health, weight, immunization and clinic visits adherence. They also received health education and had their questions adequately answered. In addition they received little gifts for their little ones.
