Restoring Hope Through Healing at St. Francis Moto Hope Medical Centre

In January 2026, St. Francis Moto Hope Medical Centre hosted yet another successful Free Medical Camp, focusing on Facial Plastics & ENT services and Minor Surgeries. Through the dedication of the Molo Medical Missions Team from the USA, together with our Kenyan St. Francis Moto Hope Medical Centre team, lives were transformed, hope was restored, and love was powerfully lived out in action.

During the January 2026 Free Medical Camp, officially held from 21st to 23rd January, lives were touched in extraordinary ways. In total, the Facial Plastics & ENT and Minor Surgeries teams attended to 298 patients and successfully performed 162 surgeries and procedures, bringing life-changing care to individuals who would otherwise not afford these essential services.

From early mornings to late into the night, the mission teams served tirelessly — offering healing, dignity, and renewed hope to children, youth, men, and women across the region. The compassion, professionalism, and generosity shown throughout the camp deeply touched hearts and left a lasting and visible impact on the community.

Even more humbling and touching was the dedication shown by Dr. Kurt’s team. Upon arrival, they were ready to begin immediately. Several beneficiaries were served between 18th and 20th January, even before the camp officially began on the 21st — their compassion simply could not wait.

This year’s camp was made possible by a dedicated medical team from the USA led by Chrissy Thell, comprising Jordan Anderson, Chelsea Ekeberg, Alli Faricy, Caitlin Malin, Chrissy Thell, David Thell, Henry Thell, Kris Mazar, Renee Torino, Mara Torino, Dr. Kurt Waters and Tammy Waters, Kevin Steadland, Glen Young, Kitty Young, Keenan Hodge, and Fr. Blake Rozier, and supported by the Kenyan St. Francis Moto Hope Medical Centre team. The collaboration was marked by exceptional professionalism, commitment, and compassionate care.

Throughout the camp, we witnessed the hand of God at work in every consultation, procedure, and restored smile. With God, everything is possible. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Molo Medical Missions, our partners, friends, volunteers, and supporters, whose unwavering support made this mission a success.

May God abundantly bless every hand that served, every heart that gave, and every life that was touched during the January 2026 Free Medical Camp.
